SAVE THE DATE FOR PTO WINTERBLAST: SATURDAY, JANUARY 28, 2012
It may seem early. You may be overwhelmed. But it is time to mark your calendars now, plan to be in town, for the best party hosted by the Communion of Saints PTO. On January 28, 2012 Walsh Hall will be transformed for a great evening of festivities and fun.
WinterBlast is a great, post-holiday party for the the over the school age group (no kids!) and a chance to spend time together, play games of chance, bid on auction items and support Communion of Saints School. Don’t miss the chance to chase away those post-holiday, winter blues. If we’ve seen you before at the WinterBlast, we look forward to seeing you again. If you haven’t celebrated with us before, we can’t wait to see you this year.
Proceeds from the event go to the Communion of Saints School PTO. These funds are used to enhance our children’s school experience. The PTO funds a number of educational programs for our students and parents as well, such as COSI, Great Lakes Theater Festival, Speaker Series and Enrichment opportunities.
What can you do to help make the 6th Annual WinterBlast successful? Three things!
1) Clear your calendar and mark the date! Then, spread the word about this great event and bring along friends and family member to join the party!
2) Put your thinking caps on about possible donations to the silent auction or possible sponsorship opportunities. If you have items you’d like to donate, we’d love to hear from you. If you have connections to a possible donee or sponsor, but would rather not make the request, please let us know a contact name, and we’ll be glad to reach out to them. And lastly, think outside the box! If you can donate a dinner party, or a service that could be added to the silent auction, we’d love to incorporate that into the auction this year.
3) Keep checking this bulleting for updates about WinterBlast.
